1. Agreement

By accessing the PolyHomes website or app you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. Hosts are additionally bound by the Host Terms & Commission Agreement.

2. What PolyHomes is

PolyHomes is a marketing and booking platform connecting guests with verified hotels, serviced apartments, shortlets and villas. We are not the owner or operator of the properties listed. The contract for a stay is between the guest and the host, facilitated by PolyHomes.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to book or list a property.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Bookings and payment

Prices shown include the fees stated at the point of booking. We do not add hidden charges at checkout. Payment is processed securely through the platform. Availability is confirmed at the time of booking.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Each listing carries the cancellation policy chosen by its host — Flexible, Moderate or Strict. The applicable policy is shown before you book and governs any refund.

7. Guest conduct

Respect the property, the host’s house rules and other guests.
Report any damage promptly. Guests are responsible for damage caused during a stay.
Do not use a property for anything unlawful.

8. Listings and content

Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. We verify ownership, photos and pricing before a listing goes live, but we do not guarantee that every detail is free of error. Report anything inaccurate and we will investigate.

9. Prohibited use

Submitting false, misleading or fraudulent information.
Attempting to interfere with the security or operation of the platform.
Scraping, copying or reselling platform content without written permission.
Circumventing the platform to avoid fees or commission.

10. Suspension

We may suspend or remove any account or listing that breaches these terms, without prior notice where the breach is serious.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PolyHomes is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform, or for the acts or omissions of hosts or guests. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Intellectual property

The PolyHomes name, logo and platform content are owned by Polyhomes and Shelter Ltd and may not be used without permission.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
